Yin & Yang Yoga

Category: Body and Mind

Yin yoga is a modern style of yoga in the Western world that is extremely calm and focuses on deeper stretching. Poses are held for 1–3 minutes. Yang, on the other hand, is the opposite of Yin, and in the context of a yoga class, Yang-style yoga practice is inspired by active yoga styles such as Ashtanga and Vinyasa. It is characterized by strength and dynamism. The goal is to bring the body and mind into even greater balance and create greater harmony between them. To develop muscular endurance, we learn various yoga poses, or asanas, by combining fast-paced and calm yoga practices. Everything in life must be in balance. And we must find that balance ourselves, being aware that every plus always needs a minus, and vice versa. This class helps improve physical endurance, build muscle strength and flexibility, and correct posture. In addition to poses that require muscle strength, the class offers an excellent opportunity to achieve balance between body and mind and to release internal tension and stress.
