Program discussions, four new languages and GPS in Gymwolf
Published 20 October 2026
Hello, {firstName}!
Here’s a quick overview of what changed on our websites and in our apps over the past week. The updates are grouped by product, so you can jump straight to the ones you use.
FitQ
Each program chapter has its own discussion
Each chapter in a program now has its own comments section. Questions, tips and experiences stay with the chapter you’re currently working on, rather than getting lost in discussions about other chapters.
You can leave an individual challenge
If a challenge isn’t right for you, you can end your current attempt and start again later if you wish. Any trophies you’ve already earned are yours to keep.
When you mark a program workout task as complete, that workout is also added to your Gymwolf diary.
The privacy policy and terms of use have been updated and now apply consistently across all our apps.
FunTastyQ Fit
Now also in Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Swedish
You can now use FunTastyQ Fit in Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Swedish, both on the web and in the app. You can choose your language in settings, and your preference is saved to your account.
You decide when the app asks you questions
There’s a new “In-app questions” section in notification settings. There, you can turn off prompts such as “Was the day fully logged?” and the question about how you’re feeling. You can still fill these in yourself in the daily view whenever you wish.
If you delete a workout from Apple Health or Health Connect, it will also be removed from FunTastyQ Fit at the next sync.
When adding ingredients to a recipe, you can now scan a barcode and use the food type filter.
Food search remembers your selected food type filters, and the dots in the week bar show the color of each day’s final score.
Imported workouts now show where you can edit them, and “Open in Gymwolf” opens the workout in Gymwolf’s new diary.
We corrected the per-piece and portion weights for dozens of foods, including the weight of a piece of Rukkipala.
Some updates will reach iPhone once Apple has reviewed the new version.
Gymwolf
GPS, effort rating and workout photo
When starting a workout in the Gymwolf app, you can turn on GPS to measure distance and view your route afterwards. At the end of the workout, you can rate how hard it was as well as how satisfied you were, and add a photo that combines with your workout stats to create a summary image.
You can start a SparQ workout directly from within a Gymwolf workout, and it will be saved as part of that same workout.
The menus and buttons on the Gymwolf website are now also available in Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Swedish.
If anything is missing or isn’t working as you expect, just reply to this email.
Enjoy your workouts and your meals!
