SparQ workouts are now in the FunTastyQ Fit app
Published 29 September 2026
Hello!
It’s Tuesday again, which means it’s time to see what we’ve completed on the product over the past week. This time, the main news is in the FunTastyQ Fit apps: in version 1.70.00, you can build and complete a SparQ workout directly in the app and, if you wish, schedule your day with specific times. In FitQ, all your trophies now have a shelf of their own, the balance test now has three difficulty levels and a leaderboard, and the final VäljaQtse challenge, The Three Musketeers, is waiting for teams. Everything described below is already live.
SparQ workouts directly in the FunTastyQ Fit app
When working out at home, the hardest part is often deciding what to do today. SparQ makes that decision for you: choose how much time you have (5–60 minutes) and how challenging you want the workout to be, and SparQ will put together a bodyweight workout plan. Until now, the SparQ card directed you to a separate app. Now everything happens within FunTastyQ Fit.
Before you begin, you’ll see a preview of the plan: an image and name for each exercise, along with the exercise and rest durations. During the workout, each exercise is accompanied by a video and a clear timer. If you turn your phone sideways, the video, time and buttons all fit on one screen. FunTastyQ Fit subscribers can do SparQ workouts without a weekly limit.
The Training view is new as well. At the top is “Start a workout”: SparQ, FitQ guided home video workouts and the Gymwolf training log. Below is a separate “Integrations” section: Strava, MyFitness and Apple Health or Health Connect. The update is available on iOS and Android in version 1.70.00.
Daily schedule with specific times: see what’s next
A regular rhythm of meals and exercise makes the day easier for many people. If breakfast is usually at 8 and your workout at 18, it’s easier to actually do them too. That’s why you can now enable a daily schedule in the FunTastyQ Fit app settings.
In the daily schedule, you set approximate times for three meals and, if you wish, a hydration checkpoint. This means that by the selected time, you should have drunk half of your daily water. You can also select sleep and activity habits or add your own habits. You can set times separately for each day of the week or for several days at once. If one day turns out differently, you can change only today’s time while leaving the following weeks unchanged.
The scheduled time appears next to each meal on the home screen. When you mark a meal or workout as completed, the actual time remains visible: green if it was within half an hour of the plan and red if the difference was greater. Above the day is a card showing the next activity and a countdown of how many minutes remain until it. The daily schedule is optional. If you don’t enable it, the app will remain the same for you as before. This update is also included in version 1.70.00.
Balance test: three difficulty levels, audio guidance and a leaderboard
Last week, we introduced FitQ’s new camera-based balance test, which was also the ninth-week VäljaQtse challenge. The first week’s results showed that quite a few people can stand in the standard position for more than two minutes. To make the test challenging for them too, we added harder levels and a few convenient features.

The test now has three difficulty levels: Standard, Eyes closed and On the ball of the foot. Each difficulty level has its own records. If you wish, audio instructions and beeps will guide you, so you don’t need to peek at the screen while testing with your eyes closed. The camera now detects your supporting leg automatically, and if the attempt is interrupted, the time accumulated up to that point is retained.
The test page also has a leaderboard: today’s best times and the best times from the past 30 days for each difficulty level and each leg. It’s a fun comparison, not a controlled competition. Whether your name is shown on the leaderboard depends on your profile’s privacy setting.
The Three Musketeers — the final VäljaQtse challenge is a team game
It’s easier to skip a workout when you’re on your own than when two friends are counting on you. This idea inspired the tenth and final VäljaQtse challenge, The Three Musketeers, which runs from 5–19 October.

Put together a three-person team. Each member earns one point for the team on every day they complete at least 15 minutes of exercise in FitQ, FunTastyQ Fit, Gymwolf or SparQ. If the team collects at least 30 points out of 45, each member receives a ticket for the final VäljaQtse prize draw on 20 October. The ten best teams will advance to the online final on 20 October, where the task is still a secret.
If you don’t have a team, join the waiting list and before the challenge begins, we’ll randomly place you on a team with two other participants. You can register as an individual participant until 20:00 on 4 October. The challenges page now has two equal tabs: Competitions, which contains teams and leaderboards, and Challenges, which contains personal goals and mini-challenges.
Create a team or join on your own
And there’s more
You can submit a super breakfast until 15 October. The deadline for the “Estonia’s Search for a Super Breakfast” competition has been extended, and the final will take place on 20 October in collaboration with restaurant Fork, where the finalists’ recipes will be prepared for real. The people’s favourite will advance directly to the final. Learn more at funtastyq.com/eestiotsib.
The salt warning has arrived in the apps. The recipe editor notification about an unusually large amount of salt, promised last week, is now also available in the FunTastyQ Fit iOS and Android apps (1.70.00). You can still always save the recipe.
Gymwolf now has an exercise clock. For each exercise, you can open a large stopwatch or timer, for example for planks. You can edit the workout duration afterwards and save two preferred durations for the rest timer. The update is available in the latest version of Gymwolf on both iPhone and Android.
The personal data page is clearer. The personal data page in FitQ settings has a new design.
Remember that the Weekly VäljaQtse is entering the home stretch: The Three Musketeers begins on 5 October. If you missed an earlier week, you can still catch up, but the attempt must begin no later than 13 October. The grand final prize draw is on 20 October.
Have an active week!
