Everyone has their own traditions during the Christmas season and throughout December. People usually hope for snow, eat plenty of Christmas food and gingerbread, and “Die Hard” is also on TV once a week. But where do sport, physical activity and exercise fit into all this?
To help you enjoy a healthier Christmas, we have three simple suggestions:
- Spend more time being active outdoors.
- Eat more fruit, such as mandarins, instead of sweets.
- Try to do at least 3 workouts at home every week.
To make it easier for you to stay active, FitQ has put together something exciting—let’s welcome Christmas with the FitQ Die Hards fitness challenge!
Instead of waiting until 1 January to turn over a new leaf or spending all your free time in December decorating the sofa (yes, it’s comfortable, we know), FitQ is offering a free fitness challenge. Everyone who wants to take part can work out with friends, try new training styles and complete the challenge as a team. FitQ will also raffle off a host of prizes among the teams that successfully complete the challenge!
We invite workout fans who already know FitQ, as well as curious newcomers, to form teams of 3–5 people and get active with us. To participate, you need to create an account on the FitQ platform, and one team member must also register the team. If you can’t find enough people for a team, don’t worry—we’ll help you find workout buddies and will gladly put teams together ourselves.
Five coaches will lead the challenge workouts. Sessions are available live and on demand, and you can join in from wherever you like. We start on 01 December! Join us and be Christmas 2022’s ultimate Die Hard!
