Three Musketeers: start with your team anytime
Published 6 October 2026
Hello!
It's Tuesday again, and time to see what's new in the product this week.
The FuntastyQ web version is becoming more like the apps
The FitQ training challenge "Three Musketeers" lets teams start the challenge at a time that suits them
The FuntastyQ daily score is recalculated when step data from previous days syncs later
In the FuntastyQ app, you can write your recipe step by step, deciding for yourself what counts as a separate stage in preparing the food
Three Musketeers is now a rolling challenge
In previous emails, we invited you to the Three Musketeers team challenge, which was due to run from 5–19 October for everyone. The problem is that anyone wanting to join now would immediately be behind on points. That's why we've made it a rolling challenge: each team now has its own 15 days, starting when the team captain starts the challenge.
Put together a team of three. Once all three have accepted the invitation, the captain chooses the start date. If you don't have a team, sign up on your own: we'll group individual participants into teams of three in registration order, and your 15 days will begin the day after the third member joins.

The FunTastyQ web version is becoming more like the apps
It's true that the web version has only been live for a few months, but the visual differences from the apps have taken up quite a bit of our time. We're sorry if you preferred the web version to the app, but overall this improvement should make the product more intuitive, and if you switch from the app to the web, all the buttons will still be in the same places.
This change should reach all users within a few days.
FunTastyQ Fit: the daily score now includes steps that arrive later
Steps are added to your daily score from your phone's health data. Your phone doesn't always send them immediately: sometimes they only arrive when you open the app the next day. Until now, the score was locked at noon the following day, and steps arriving later no longer changed it. This meant an active day could receive a lower score than it should have. Now, scores for the last seven days are recalculated when steps arrive later.
Morning reminder. At 9 in the morning, FunTastyQ Fit reviews your previous day. If yesterday's steps or meal calories are zero or differ from your average over the last four weeks by more than half, you'll receive a notification asking you to review yesterday's diary. You'll receive this notification no more than once a day.
Define the individual steps of your recipe yourself
In August, we added cooking mode to the apps, which displays recipes on screen step by step. For your own recipes, the app previously had to guess where one step ended and another began, because the preparation instructions were one long text field. Now you write the steps yourself, and cooking mode shows them exactly as you wrote them.
And more
You can try FunTastyQ Fit free for 7 days. If you've only used FitQ or Gymwolf so far, you'll get a 7-day trial when you first log in to FunTastyQ Fit. No card is required, and the trial starts as soon as you log in to the app.
When you add a product, the app checks the total nutrient content. If the total amount of carbohydrates, fibre, protein, fat and alcohol per 100 g is impossibly high, the app alerts you before saving. This keeps typos out of the food data.
Food photo estimates are more reliable. “Photograph food” now uses an even newer AI model, and if the model's response is incomplete, it automatically tries again. On Android, the result row now shows the same calorie count that is saved to the diary.
Remember, the Estonia's Search for a Super Breakfast challenge is also underway! Submit your winning recipe and rate other entries at
Have an active week!
