New mini-challenges: seven days for yourself
Published 15 September 2026
Hello!
It’s Tuesday again and time to see what product updates were completed over the past week. This time, the main news is on the FitQ challenges page: the Weekly ChallenQe challenges will remain available as permanent mini-challenges that you can start whenever it suits you. In addition, recipe updates have arrived in both FunTastyQ Fit apps, the daily summary email has started showing your weight journey, and when you purchase the Premium annual plan, your remaining Basic time will no longer go to waste. Everything described below is already live.
Mini-challenges — seven days for yourself, whenever it suits you
The Weekly ChallenQe has shown that one clear goal for a week gives many people better momentum than a month-long commitment. That is why these challenges will not disappear after the campaign ends. The FitQ challenges page now has a “Mini-challenges” section featuring seven challenges: Healthy Week, Three Workouts, Fiber Week, Movement Week, Water Week, Complete the Walking Test, and Morning Exercise.
Choose a challenge and start either today or tomorrow — you have exactly seven days. You can take on several different challenges at the same time. Your progress is calculated from the same data you already log in FitQ and FunTastyQ Fit: workouts, steps, water, fiber, and daily score. You do not need to enter anything separately. You can see day by day what has been completed and what still lies ahead. If the week went differently from what you planned, you can try the same challenge again after the seven days are over.
Each successfully completed challenge earns you one QUP trophy, which will remain permanently in your “My QUPs” collection. Weekly ChallenQe weeks that you successfully completed in the past will also be added there. You need a FitQ Basic or Premium plan to start a new challenge. Tickets for the October 4 prize draw are still awarded according to the Weekly ChallenQe calendar and catch-up rules.
Recipes: cooked food weight and servings
Food changes weight when cooked. Water evaporates. Cooked food usually does not weigh the same as the sum of its individual ingredients.
After you add the ingredients, the recipe form now asks for the cooked food weight and number of servings. Weigh the food after preparing it, enter the number, and the app will immediately show how many calories there are in 100 grams and in one serving. If you do not know the weight, leave the field blank — the app will then calculate it as before. The recipe list has a new “My recipes” filter, you can edit your own recipe directly from the list, and the bottom menu bar no longer disappears while browsing recipes. The update is available in iOS version 1.66.05 and Android version 1.66.04a.
On the FunTastyQ Fit website, you can now also enter the amount of a recipe ingredient using units, such as “2 eggs” or “1 tbsp honey.” The grams are calculated automatically. This is also useful when submitting your recipe to the super breakfast competition. You can now specify the number of servings when submitting it, so others will see the nutritional value of one serving rather than that of the entire recipe.
The daily summary email shows your weight journey
When losing weight, it is easy to focus only on how far you still have to go and forget how much you have already achieved. The idea came from one of our users: you should also be able to see where the journey began.
If you receive the FunTastyQ Fit daily summary email and have a weight goal, the email now shows your starting point alongside your current weight and goal. This is your highest weight from the past 12 months (or your lowest if your goal is to gain weight). You will also see how many kilograms you have moved toward your goal since then and what percentage of the journey you have completed. The email only takes actual saved weigh-ins into account and requires at least two weigh-ins on different days.
One more thought — if you have a good idea for a product update, feel free to share it. Perhaps we will find the idea so useful for others as well that we will bring it to life.
Premium annual plan — your remaining Basic time will not go to waste
If you currently have FitQ Basic and decide to purchase the Premium annual plan, you no longer need to wait for Basic to end. Your remaining Basic time will be converted into Premium so that two Basic days give you one Premium day, and this will be added to the end of your new year. For example, 60 days of Basic will add 30 days of Premium to the year. The rule applies both when purchasing through the FitQ checkout and when redeeming a Stebby Premium voucher, and the same end date will also apply in FunTastyQ Fit.
Until October 4, we are running a campaign in partnership with Stebby offering the Premium annual plan for €99.90, with gifts included with every purchase: a FitQ yoga mat and a course of your choice (“Motivation and Consistency” or “Get Fit with Pilates”). You can find the offer at fitq.me/stebby.
And more
Workout videos are playing in the TV apps again. A couple of weeks ago, we announced that we had changed our video server. This temporarily caused problems in the TV apps. FitQ Android TV and Apple TV have received version 1.0.1, which fixes video playback. If you saw the “Playback failed” error on your TV, update the app.
Program reminders no longer continue indefinitely. If a program step remains incomplete for a long time, we will send a limited number of reminders, and the email will include a link that lets you leave the program with one click.
Questions submitted through the Help page now go directly to customer support. The “Help” menu now takes you to the FitQ help page, where questions submitted through the contact form go directly into our customer support queue. We already had a similar solution in the FuntastyQ apps, and now it is also available on the website.
A rest day is a rest day. A rest day marked in FitQ no longer appears as a workout in the FunTastyQ Fit web diary, the daily summary email, or Gymwolf.
Food photos on Android no longer get lost. If the network connection briefly drops during upload, the photo is retained and sent again (1.66.04a).
The Gymwolf workout log is one click away. The workouts page on the FunTastyQ Fit website now has a button that takes you directly to the Gymwolf workout log — a log designed for true workout enthusiasts, which we will tell you a little more about soon.
Remember that the Weekly ChallenQe is still going — this week, we are looking for a super breakfast, and you can submit your breakfast until Sunday, September 20.
Have an active week!
