The first week of the ChristmasQ Energy Challenge has also been summarised by the teams. There were 56 feedbacks yesterday. On average, it has to be said that the participants are still very happy after the first week. Respondents were most satisfied with our challenge coaches, who scored a total of 8.8 points on a 10-point satisfaction scale. Participants rated their own performance as good with 8.13 points. A little more satisfied were their teammates, who scored 8.5. Of course, there were also several respondents who gave their teammates a score of 1, but of course this happened when the team failed to meet their weekly targets.
The FitQ platform received a bit more "flak" from respondents, as it caused a number of participants in the challenge to miss their training sessions, especially at the beginning of the week. Fortunately, at the end of the week, we got our own things running better and got a score of 6.78 from users.
Extra task of the week
An additional task for the week was for each team to make a photo collage of their video training and upload it to our Facebook group. The creative task got many people's imaginations going and many interesting entries were received.
The coolest shenanigans was sent by the team of Ambulance, who had the misfortune to include a magician in his performance, who sawed the team members into four pieces and then put them back together again, as you can see in the picture.

Why did people take up the challenge?
We also include here some quotes from our participants on why they took up the challenge. Weight loss and habit-forming goals were the main ones that stood out. There were also those who wanted to develop muscle strength, for example to take part in ski marathons. Some had a more general goal, while others had a very measurable goal, such as doing all the workouts or losing 3 kg of weight. Some also said specifically and boldly that they had come to take part in the hope of winning a prize.
Participants' quotes
"Lose a little weight and get back into a nice workout routine."
"By the end of the challenge, I should be in the habit of moving and exercising every day, and be able to schedule time to do this alongside other daily activities. I'm sure I'll be more energetic and stronger by the end of the challenge. :)"
"Top 10 with your unknown companions. Encouraging each other unnoticed!"
"The goal is to attend ALL the training sessions, even though sometimes it feels like I can't because of the kids and singing and other things. Except family dinners are always late now 😂"
"The goal is to finish the job and get in better shape for Christmas. I usually go to training 4x a week elsewhere and joined with big doubts, but there's so much enthusiasm for working out together that somehow I find the energy and time. This week I did 12 sessions, plus some disc golf in the snowy forest."
"Get in shape, lose up to 5kg and fit into party clothes and most importantly, get a routine to follow and keep going until the new Christmas 🤩"
