Basic running course on the FitQ platform: the Keirin experience and recommendations

Hello to all running enthusiasts! I would like to share my exciting experience on the basic running course I am currently running on the FitQ training platform. If you're a beginner runner or want to improve your running, then the Running Basics course could be for you!

Yesterday we had an open air training in Laulava park in Tartu, supervised by professional coach Margus Pirksaar. From the very first moment it was clear that this course was going to be something special. Together with the group we got a lot of new and useful information about running and learned many important tips and techniques.

The training itself was truly memorable. The Song of Songs Park was a great place to train, offering varied scenery and a great atmosphere. In addition, the beautiful weather and the warm afternoons added a special charm to the training. Margus Pirksaar guided us in an inspiring way and shared his knowledge and experience of running technique. We received individual feedback on our running technique and exercises, which helped us to understand how we could make our running more effective.

What I particularly liked was the way the workout focused not only on the physical aspect, but also on how you felt and how you monitored your heart rate. I learned how to listen to my body and feel comfortable while running. I learnt what my heart rate should be at different training intensities and how to monitor it. This knowledge has been extremely useful and gives me confidence in my future training.

I strongly recommend that all running enthusiasts start by consulting a professional coach or taking a basic running course. This will give you a solid foundation and help you avoid mistakes and injuries. The FitQ platform is currently running a basic running course, which you can still join. Proper running technique is a lifetime value!

If you're looking for a way to learn to run properly and improve your running level, I dare to recommend the FitQ Basic Running Course. You'll gain a lot of new knowledge, develop your running technique and feel more confident on the track. Plus, you'll find new friends and running buddies to do the sport with, because what better combination than good company and outdoor exercise!

Enjoying the process or the finish?

Talking about goals often focuses on the outcome, but the real value lies in the process. If we focus only on the finish, we can become bored and empty. A sporting journey can be made enjoyable by noticing small moments of joy, learning and feeling gratitude. The results will come naturally if we enjoy the journey.
