FitQ CEO Marti Soosaar finally decided to get his own channel on FitQ up and running. The reason—and his motivation—is a personal challenge to wake up at 5 a.m. on 66 consecutive workdays and start the day with a morning workout. You can read about why he set himself this particular challenge in Marti’s personal blog.
But what could FitQ users gain from this personal challenge? Marti Soosaar explains.
"For FitQ users, it means the chance to wake up with me at 5 a.m. and follow along with the workouts. To begin with, I’m planning a light 20-minute workout at the start of every workday, with the aim of working up a light sweat. This will be followed by a second workout in a 15+5 format: 15 minutes of stretching and 5 minutes of relaxation.
I can’t promise that I’ll be able to go live every single morning, so I may have to do some workouts without an audience. Having an audience isn’t really the main point of this challenge, though. It’s unlikely that people will join in en masse, because starting the day at 5 a.m. is definitely not the most popular choice. In any case, I’m taking on this challenge for myself, and everyone is free to join in or not. The workouts will remain available on FitQ to do later, so you can also simply use them as short, 20-minute workout bursts at a time that suits you better.
After the first three days of this challenge, my energy and productivity have been absolutely fantastic, so my current recommendation to everyone is to try it at least once."
