Bert Tippi has graduated from the Institute of Sports Science and Physiotherapy at the University of Tartu and works daily as a physical education teacher and coach. Her extensive competitive experience (including running and skiing) will ensure you a safe and effective learning process.

Our training programme is divided into training and rest days so you can balance workload and recovery. We start at a leisurely pace so that technique and endurance develop at the same pace, and this approach helps to prevent injuries.
Preparing for the Tartu Marathon
The training plan of the course is particularly aimed at those who want to complete a full or half distance in 2025. If this appeals to you, the course is the perfect way to prepare for a marathon - but anyone who just wants to enjoy skiing is also welcome.
Advice on equipment and techniques
You'll get an insight into how to choose the right skis, poles and clothing. Plus, we'll give you practical tips on how to care for and lubricate your skis. The right equipment and ski care will make skiing much more enjoyable!
