"Unfortunately, I just don't have time to go to the gym"

If you're not as sporty as you'd like to be, the main reason you give is that you don't have the time. In November 2017, we conducted a Stebbys survey of nearly 3000 users and found that almost all respondents valued sport and a sporty lifestyle, but 50% found they didn't have the time to be sporty enough and 15% said they struggled with motivation.

We repeated this survey in a very simple format. FitQ Instagram and we found that 65% respondents again cited lack of time as a problem and 22% cited lack of motivation. The sample was far less representative and the methodology of the survey would have been shot through the sieve by an opponent in defending a scientific paper, but on a gut feeling it seems that the time and motivation of the trainers has not increased significantly in the last four years. It may be that the time is ripe for another major poll, but it seems even more so that the time is ripe for solutions.

What do you think, is the lack of time really a distraction or is it just an excuse to make excuses? If you want to share your opinion, send it blog@fitq.me
