FitQ introduces a new and exciting tool on its platform to objectively measure your fitness, the FitQ fitness index. You can quickly find the current result of your fitness index on your desktop (see image). But what is a fitness index and how is it calculated?
FitQ fitness index takes into account our the results of three AI tests:
- 1-minute arm curls test
- 1-minute sit-to-stand test
- 1-minute chick test
For each test, they first look at your score and then compare it with your age and the expected average of your peers. Record test results from the last 3 months will be taken into account, to prevent constant recalculation if the user perhaps just did the test as a workout or the camera for some reason did not record the results correctly.
As with the IQ test, there are For the FitQ index, the average score is 100 points.. A score above 100 is better than average and a score below 100 is worse than the expected average. Today's index is calculated on the basis of assumed average results and does not currently take into account the specificities of our test or the average of our users. When more data is collected in the future, we will be able to start comparing with the real average results of our users.
