On this occasion, the Energy Exchange was visited by nutrition advisor Krete Junson. The Energy Transmission is a podcast that focuses mainly on how energy is created and what we can do to have more of it in our lives and what not to do to lose it. As Krete is definitely one of the most energetic people in the whole of Tartu, she is absolutely the right person to be on the show.

In addition to being a nutritional counsellor, Krete is the head of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club, she is a PhD student at the University of Tartu. She is also a coach and an active trainer herself. Krete's doctoral thesis focuses on the nutrition of elite athletes and coaches, i.e. how to take the absolute last thing from nutrition to achieve excellent results. Today's feeling is that the people who are supposed to be the biggest nutrition experts may not actually be, and they may also have traps in their knowledge of nutrition. So what else is there to say about ordinary people?

In the podcast, we talked about how eating pasta is not bad for your health. Questions were answered about how you can eat more without getting fat, and what snacks you should offer if you want to slip a gin and tonic with friends to make it as healthy as possible. Of course, we also discussed what and who a nutrition counsellor is and touched on the future plans of the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club, or how to get Tartu residents off the couch and into a sports club.
